The Elkridge Furnace in was fantastic! My fiance and I took a wedding tour and Donna was amazing. She was very informative and knowledgeable about the buildings history and the venues amenities. After the tour, my fiance ans I decided to stay for dinner and the food was exceptional. The play off of the classic cream of crab soup was present as almost a bisque that tasted wonderful. I really enjoyed the mushroom risotto, the consistency was perfect and the flavor profile was expertly developed. We topped off the night with some dessert and we were astonished at the creamy delicious cheesecake and soft fluffy strawberry mouse trifle. I've been here 4-5 times for catered special events and private parties, hosted my baby shower here! Lovely food and staff. Just one suggestion: please keep offering water in the dessert course! I feel like the dessert plates go down and the staff disappear. I can't seem to ever wave someone down and end up with empty water glass the last 3 times I've been here. I will continue to come, and this one change would really help! Thank you for the lovely times and themed teas!
Never ate in but carry out food has always been timely, well prepared, and tasty!nnTonight, we finally dined in for a music evening. Most fun I've had out since covid started! Worth every penny! Do yourself a much needed favor and dine in next music night they have!
I love this place! Amazing food! Amazing establishment with good history! If you make your way through elkridge ever you should definitely make this one of your stops!
This is a wonderful restaurant. The building is historic, beautifully restored and the wait staff well trained.nThe food was imaginative and tasty.nThe overall feel was quiet and intimate.
