Big chunk of fenced in land with lake access for the pups. Wish there was a designated side for the small dogs, though.

So great! Clean, quiet and great for a summer afternoon! One word of caution: the segmented lake access for the dogs is only a pool lane line. So if your pup is one to ignore suggested barriers, keep a long line on the hem!

A must to visit place together with your pets but just bring food of your own cuz there's no nearby food stalls or what.

Lots of humans off leash within enclosed fence.

I drove all the way out here. The parking lot is on the other side of the river (almost parallel to the dog park (you can see part of it from across the river)). You have to walk all the way back to the bridge to cross over the river (which is like a half mile walk) and then all the way back up the river on the other side to get to the dog park. The walk isn't a big deal, cuz it gave my dogs a chance to sniff the area and go potty before we got there.nnI get all the way up there to find out you need a membership to use the dog park. Nowhere was it mentioned on any of the billboards or paper information packets. There is like a door code for the gate to get into the dog part of the park. I talked to some people there who told me the membership for the whole park is $115!!nWhy?nThe dog park is in the middle of the larger park, everything was free. Fishing free, parking free, trails free, boating free, dock use free, using the BBQ's and the covered tables free, swimming free, playground free, but the dog park is where they see the need to charge a $115 membership fee?
