I can remember the very first day I came to the vineyard, I knew God was in this place and knew that this would be the church that I would raise a family with! My wife and I visited with our first daughter as an infant and have sense then grown into a family of five. I can honestly say that the emotional and spiritual well being and state of my family is a direct reflection of being united and accepted into a family of believers who all go after the heart of God and encourage each other to press forward! From day one, the pastors and leadership have been men and women of their word always seeking truth in love. Always making sure that God is kept first in every situation! Always being self sacrificial no matter what the situation! I have seen our pastors restore homes after storms, feed the hungry, clothe the needy, help with financial burdens, pray for healing, hold countless outreaches to love the community we are in, and never once seek recognition or praise! Jesus said that signs and wonders would follow those that believe. This is exactly what happens at the vineyard! To put it simply, the pastors and leaders of the vineyard are the real deal, authentic and honorable! They practice what they preach, and what they preach is bible based truth with the intent to make Jesus famous in Lafayette, loving every person we come into contact with along the way! But don’t take my word for it, come visit and feel the Love! :)

This church has been there for me through thick and thin.. Zero judgement and total love! They preach the truth and they love unconditionally. Couldn’t ask for a better family to be a part of.

After 27:00 minutes into the sermon on Sunday May 26, I became very disappointed to hear the statement, “It’s not like He (Jesus) was God..” “He laid down His godness....He (Jesus) was a man filled with the Spirit of God.” By the speakernI disagree. Christ laid aside His glory, the glory that He had with the Father before the world existed. He never laid down His divinity. How could God become less than God? The humanity was added to the divinity. Divinity was never subtracted from God. Jesus was fully God and fully man.nNote: Would you be so kind as to not take this down just because of it’s differing opinion. The challenges in orthodoxy have led to various beliefs and practices within the faith. Why hide this fact? Better to study to show oneself approved than shun any critique.

This is a really great church ! They are really helpful and make you feel at home. Their teachings are amazing and they speak from the bible. I love that they work hard to equip the church and speak the truth. They don't compromise just to make someone feel good, yet if you need help they will help without condemnation.
