This place is awesome! It's not because of the structure, but because of what is done within it.nHere, first and foremost, we believe in God the Eternal Father, in His Son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost. Here we show our gratitude for Christ's suffering and death by partaking of the Sacrament and by learning about the nature of God and how we can best Love Him and our fellow man. We strive to live what we learn, but we aren't perfect so if your looking for perfect people you will not find any here, but if you want to be alongside people who are striving to live their lives in a way that is pleasing to God and brings true happiness then come and join us! We meet every Sunday at 10 am we would love to have ya! God bless!!

I LOVE the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints! And all who attend. It is such a wonderful privilege to have the freedom of religion, to be able to attend this wonderful soul fulfilling church!

I visited this church. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood and next to a school. It has a feeling of peace and friendly people. There are classes designed for all ages of kids, youth, young adults, and adults to attend and enjoy together and separate from one another. The whole congregations meets first, then everyone separates to age appropriate classes for Sunday school instruction, and then the male and female of appropriate older age groups (12 years old and older) separate into gender appropriate classes. The young children 11 and under stay together and there is even a special place for toddlers age 18 months to 3 years old! As a single mother, I felt comfortable there and my child really enjoyed it there. He said it is his favorite place to go to church. The teachings are of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. The text, or material used are the Bible (King James Version) and the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price. There are also study manuals available in paper form or via app!! This church is definitely all about the real life and teaching of God and Jesus Christ! We love it and will return many times I am sure!

I love visiting the Lafayette Ward! So many wonderful people of faith. And if you happens to be there for ward conference, the gumbo can’t be beat!

This is my family church and I love it here. Please come and visit. We are warm and loving people of God. We aren't perfect we make mistakes, but we do try hard to love as our Savior loves us. Please join us when you can.
