In town from Denver & my father who lives nearby, and never tried this location, took me. BEST fried okra, fried gator, and bread pudding, I've ever had, and I lived in LA for over 15 years. HANDS DOWN recommend!!! Relaxed atmosphere, and kind and speedy service. Will visit again when I can bring my kids here!!
Amazing experience! We were driving and found this place randomly on the map and decided to take a little detour. On the outside you wouldn’t expect much, but inside the owners have done a great job with the place. It’s decorated very elaborately and the food is amazing. We got a shrimp po-boy and it was out of this world. So simple yet so good. They also have a store and their own seasoning which was great. I would definitely recommend this place for any weary travelers like ourselves to stop by!
The food here is fantastic. The staff is very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I would definitely go back again.

Best food I have ever had. We will be back. Even with limited menu do to covid. Out of the 8 of us in the group we all got something different. We will be back on our next visit.
