I loved it! Yesterday was my first visit, and it far exceeded my expectations! I had the Jazzy Potatoes. I will definitely be back....next week I'm sure :-)
The absolute best shrimp I have had since I moved here, and their beneigts taste phenomenal as well. The owner and the staff were extremely polite, and helped to make the experience a great night out for my wife and me.nnWe will be back!
The gumbo deeply disappointed me. #1: I don't eat eggs so it took me by complete surprise that there was one in my gumbo. While I understand that this is a part of the specific cultural practice of Cajuns and Creoles in SWLA, people should have the choice of having the egg. #2: the roux smelled like brown gravy. I might as well have been served chicken and rice with brown gravy.
The food is served fresh and taste absolutely amazing. The staff is very professional. The first experience was so good we returned 2 days later for more.
Driving from Dallas to Destin, we googled the best Cajun food in Monroe and it led us here. The hospitality and the food were both amazing!! The owner welcomed us and fed us well! If you pass through Monroe and don’t stop here then your bad. Excellent food!
