Best muffuletta sandwiches in nola
An old time neighborhood grocery. Excellent deli meats hand cut, and a great homemade seafood gumbo. Poboys are excellent too. I grew up near the this store, and the son of the original owner now owns it. A short trip back in time ud83dude01

This place is a Grocery and Deli. It is a family-run business which has been there since at least the 40's. I definitely recommend the muffalata and if you have room for dessert the strawberry cheesecake or banana pudding is totally delicious. They make everything in front of you so everything is fresh which is good. They have a seating area in the front with cable TV. There is a salon attached to it. There is an extra entrance inside of the grocery.
I just had the best muffaletta that I've had in years for $7.50 you can feed two people with this half of sandwich. I also tried some of the banana pudding, this little store is well worth the stop.
