If you’re looking for a learning environment that is diverse, safe, and fun then Jefferson Rise Charter School is it. Students in need of extra help are supported in many ways, thanks to all the support services that the school provides. At Jefferson RISE, each child excels to their greatest potential. I give my highest recommendation.

My child attends Jefferson Rise and absolutely LOVES it! The student teacher ratio is pretty impressive. Majority of the classrooms have more that one teacher. What I love mostly is how much the teachers care. Unlike the last school my child attended bullying is NOT tolerated. There are several staff members that assure my child is on the right track.The school offers after school tutoring for every subject. Jefferson Rise has several after school programs and clubs to bring out the talents of all students.

Really unorganized school. Small environment. They must've been drunk in the club when they came up with an idea to produce a school. Tried to get my child help with grades and even showed up at the school to talk to the teachers. My kid past with a D. Oh, and the 8th grade math teacher or 9th Ms. Copeland. Worst math teacher I've seen and talked to. She didn't care if you messed up on your work or tried to seek help to bring the grades up. Went to tutoring thinking my child would know and catch up on their work to figure out what they was doing, but no she assigned extra work in the tutoring class my child got nothing from this. Then the science teacher Ms. Beecham my child would come home to tell me their science teacher assigned them work then fell asleep during the class. How terrible. How do you hire workers like that then give them a salary for them to not care and fall asleep in the middle of a class period. I took my child out of the school because of how the school ran. I hope the other parents do so as well.
