I found this out of the way restaurant by accident about 12 years ago. It knocked me out. The food is out of this world, the scene is friendly and unique. I only make it down to Jean Lafitte from New Orleans once or twice a year but I always eat here when I do. Today I brought my wife's Chicago family down for a meal. It was as fantastic as always. There are dishes like the Flounder Lafitte that I've never seen anywhere else. Chef really knows his stuff (and stuffing). It's worth the drive to Lafitte all by itself.

CJ Rojas (Rojas Fishing Charters) recommended this place during our visit for a fishing trip. He warned us that it was a “hole in the wall” spot, but the food was excellent. He was right on BOTH accounts, and that’s exactly what we like! Great food and service. Ice cold beer was an added bonus, too!

The food is sooo good! From out of state and found this place on Google. Read the reviews and decided to give it a try. Very impressed with this little restaurant! Will come back next time we are ever in the area again in a few years!

Ms. Barbara, our waitress was great, very attentive, personal and friendly!!! I pray Voleo recognizes her efforts to the restaurant!! The food here is amazing!! Some of the best seafood we've had in a long long time!! Thanks guys!!!

Great food! Amazing actually, Lydia was a fantastic server. Came thru after airboat adventures and it was amazing! Loved the patio/outdoor space
