We were excited to try this place out. But unfortunately they had a fire and restaurant was shut down. Maybe next time.
Posting for my mom: This restaurant was a great surprise! We stopped in for lunch after doing a bayou tour next door. It was a beautiful spot with huge windows overlooking the bayou. We shared a fried seafood platter and a bowl of gumbo. Both were excellent. The seafood was perfect, with a light batter.
Great food, service and view. First time ever eating gumbo, definitely better than expected. Shrimp po boy was huge and more than satisfying. Fries were delicious. Recommend gator stuffed mushrooms as appetizer too!
Alligator stuffed mushrooms were delicious! Bf got the pulled pork and said it was good as was the beer selection of local favorites.
The dishes were prepared perfectly and in a timely manner, the staff super friendly. We went as a group of twenty. We had some fly in from Maryland, Hawaii, California, Dallas Texas and Houston Texas. One drove down from Pine Louisiana - the rest from the West Bank just for this dinner date to celebrate the lives of my late brother and his wife. The staff was very patient and understanding of such a large noisy group. They saw to our every need. We stayed for the better part of 3 hours dinning and visiting. They all vowed to be back and be back soon. We have dined here on other special occasions and were never let down by the food or service. A great place for a couple to dine or a gang like ours.
