I am in town pretty frequently. This place is awesome. The gumbo is the best I have had anywhere in NOLA. Very hearty. Today I had the shrimp creole. It has become my favorite dish from the menu. Totally awesome.

I've been hearing about this place for years and I finally got to visit. It did not disappoint. The mumbo gumbo was amazing! So was the oyster poor boy. And Chef Ron came out to personally chat with guests at most every table. It was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to go back.

Absolutely the BEST gumbo I have ever had! The menu has a lot to choose from besides gumbo and the prices are reasonable. We love Crystal! She is so friendly and is an excellent server! I highly recommend dining at Chef Ron's Gumbo Shop. You will not be disappointed. ud83dude0b

Great Cajun meal for 11.99! 1/2 of a Roast Beef Po-Boy and a huge bowl of Seafood Gumbo. I highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed!
