I still like taking a taxi every now and then as I embark on my daily hustle and bustle through the Big Easy.. Kinda makes me feel like I'm in New York.. Even though I've never been ud83dude01
I caught a cab several times this month and the charges were insane! I'm a local and my argument was to give our service back to the original businesses of the city. Upon taking a cab the charges are doubled just to go 4 blocks down the street. Fixed meters with variation in pricing going back from and to the same destination. It should not cost any one 15.00 to go 4 blocks down. I'm sorry, but share rides are beneficial to a class of people. This is a rip off!
Called for a taxi and was told it'll be here in 10 minutes. 30-40 minutes later I finally reached them after numerous tries only to hear the taxi will be there in 10 minutes. Worst cab service I've ever experienced. Might I mention that it was pouring rain. I went from being to work on time to being an hour late. Smh.
This is seriously the worst cab service ever. I’m a regular and depend on this service to get to work. Not only do drivers charge insane prices, dispatch is rude and lies about ETA. This morning I am an hour late to my job and may now be fired in the middle of a pandemic due to the fact that dispatch took over an hour to fulfill my request.
