All I had was a grilled cheese sandwich with an egg on it. But they served it up exactly how I make mine back home in California, including the type of cheese, the bread and how they cooked the egg. It was perfect, and exactly what I was wanting at the time. I've been on the road around the US for the past two months. And haven't been able to have a comfort food like this yet. I've tried, the few places I went to didn't use the proper bread and/or it was toasted too much, or they over cooked the egg. They made it properly. Thank you Strate's, sometimes its the small things like a grilled cheese and egg sandwich, that really counts.
