Great trail for an easy flat hike with kids or trail run without them. Trail runs along a nice creek the entire way. If you start at Heritage Park and go to the ruins, and then pass that on the very narrow trail that goes up to Covered Bridge and back you will get right about 3.1 miles round trip. Trail is well kept most of the time and has a few places to access the creek.

Only accessible on foot or bicycle from Silver Comet or Heritage Park Trails. Very neat, scenic old ruins framed by steel reinforcement and overgrown. There is a picnic table nearby too. The hike in will take longer than actually seeing this, but still fun.

Great place to walk, nice and shaded paved paths. You can ride your bike, bring your dog on a leash. Follow the winding path down to the old mill to see a piece of history hidden in the woods. The river runs along the path so you can go cool off in the water. Great place to spend a Saturday morning in nature.

Ruins of historic mill on Nickajack Creek close to the end of Heritage Park trail. From the area you walk up to join Silver Comet Trail in Smyrna. Nice place.

Beautiful landmark. Unfortunately there are people with no respect who have left graffiti on it. So sorry to see that. Love sitting by it and wondering what it was once like.
