I have never seen a more ridiculous wait for a drinks and food. I’m sure it’s because there are so few places in Universal to grab a coffee and breakfast but surely they realize this and can up staffing? I have photos to post of the 25+ people waiting and the only 5 deep line of people ordering. Ugh. This was about 9am on Monday morning. SO glad I only ordered a drip coffee. I wanted food, too, but I didn’t want to wait an hour!
The experience during COVID social distancing and masks as well as the unique corral system made for an expeditious trip in and out. I have to admit that we have been to plenty of Starbucks everywhere in the world and the drinks never seem to come out for the patrons in the same order they were ordered but here this was the case. I was highly impressed at the efficiency of their set up.
Karem was so sweet! I could tell she was smiling, even under the mask. The lines look long but they are super efficient, and the drinks were top notch.
Place is no busier than a regular Starbucks but you have 2 people on register, one waiting to just hand out drinks and ONE person slowly making them which chatting on the phone about what she did last night while the pick up line gets longer and longer. Expect to wait an hour or more to get your drink here
Inconsistent drink quality. Coffee grounds in drink. One drink super strong and one weak (ordered the same thing).
