Island Grove Wine Company at Formosa Gardens

We celebrated our daughter’s 21st birthday with a formal dinner complete with bottle service this past weekend at Island Grove. From the planning stage to the set up on the day of the event everything was so easy. Adam gave us a tour of the property so that we could select the perfect size room for our group. He made the deposit and payment options simple for us and even helped us in choosing not only the dishes for our meal but also pairing the wine with a private tasting on the day we finalized all our details. The wait staff was amazing on the day of our party. They were on top of refilling glasses, asking if we needed anything and paying attention to every detail. Our guests couldn’t say enough about how good the food was and how impressive the location is. If you’re worried about booking this venue during these COVID times, don’t be! The staff is on top of cleaning and sanitizing, we were assured that the a/c system is cleaned out periodically, they take your temperature and require you wear masks when you enter the facility and the room we booked had not one but TWO private balconies that we could open the doors to allow fresh air to circulate in. My daughter was extremely happy with every aspect of this experience which is exactly what my husband and I wanted. We look forward to visiting this location again for one of their Sunday brunches very soon.

Came in for brunch with my husband and had THEE most amazing first experience. My husband had an adorable flight of craft beers and I sampled several of the wines (the blueberry moscato is to die for!) The food was absolutely delicious (hats off to the chef) but it was our server, Nicole that made our experience truly perfect. She was attentive and showed us a good time. Can’t wait to come back soon!

Did not appear on my google search but saw the sign on 192 and dropped by - parking lot was full but seating was available. Significant wait for restaurant but Self-Serve tasting available.nnFirst Self-Serve tasting. Amazing brunch! I didn’t realize you needed reservations and YOU DO!! MAKE RESERVATIONS! They did fit us in after an hour wait. Our server was very attentive and the food was top notch. A perfect hidden gem off 192

Awesome for Sunday brunch with a cute gift shop too! Suggest reservation unless you walk in right when they open. The young lady at the bar was so kind and attentive & wine samples are currently self-serve from these machines ($2 for a small pour) most of which are on the sweet-side. Will definitely be back.
