Surprises and thrills around every corner. Great for kids who are ready for the next level of excitement. Expedition Everest is worth the wait. The ambiance isn't as good as other rides leading up to the coaster but the ride is still great.

Filled with twists, turns and some backwards surprises, this coaster is a fun time. It's an older type of coaster, so it's a bit 'rickety' and definitely bumpy. There is always a hefty wait, so I recommend using one of your fast passes here if you can, so you save time.nnThe line is outside, so if you don't have a fast pass, it can get quite hot while you wait, so bring a cold water bottle and maybe some snacks. The ride itself has a fun theme with a cold Everest ride and a Yeti on the loose. There are some surprise turns, so beware if you have motion sickness. Be sure to read all the warnings on the wait just in case.nnOverall: AnHefty wait time pretty much always - get a fast pass. Fun ride overall with great twists and turns.

My 10 year old loved it and this was get first time riding. I love the story behind this one, you will take many twist and turns, go forwards and backwards and some of it is in the dark as well.

This is my favorite ride in all of Disney World! Starting at the line, it is very educational about the Everest area, to include Nepal and Tibet. You can find out about the yeti, and see pictures of the people that live there. It fits quite well with the Asian esthetic in that area of the park too. One of the best places in the line has hanging bells that you can ring as you pass by too, so look up. Lastly the ride it self is really well done, and starts slowly to really build the suspense. Just when you've climbed to the top, it waits a moment and drops you backwards them shows a shadow of a yeti tearing up tracks. Easily the best ride in the park and probably all of Disney World.

It took years but my family finally talked me into riding this coaster. It is more intense than Big Thunder and Space Mountain, but I was able to handle it. We went on twice in a row since there was no line and I was a bit queasy afterwards. The rest went on a third time which is normally not possible but the crowds were elsewhere.
