I love the person, David S, that I have been seeing for the past few years however the fees are astronomical. I am very simple, nothing complicated to my taxes and was charged $588! When I left, I called a few other family members that go to various places and nobody paid over $150. For this reason alone, this will be my last year using H&R Block. If I could cancel my appointment from today and go elsewhere, I would.

Fran was amazing. This is our third year using her to prepare our taxes and we will definitely ask her to prepare our taxes next year. She is very caring and professional and offers great advice which makes each tax year easier for us.

I had made my tax appointment a year in advance, however, the appointment before mine ran over an hour late. My tax consultant (Eberle) came to meet me in the waiting area to personally apologize (though, it was not his fault) and offered to call me as soon as he was finished. In addition, the receptionist was an absolute sweetheart. She was extremely busy, answering phones, making appointments, and yet still managing to make me feel like I had not been forgotten. Overall, great experience (once again) communication on the whole was on point. I do feel as though the price was very high for my taxes... I did make an appointment for next year, though I might explore a cheaper option. I have been with H&R Block since 2015 and it would be a shame to go elsewhere after creating such a great rapport with Eberle after all these years. But I feel it is no longer viable, financially.
