Absolutely love this place! I've been coming here since I was a teenager, and now I get to bring my kids. They love the Lighthouse and the area with the rocks is breathtaking. Our last visit to Cape Florida Lighthouse was actually for our wedding photoshoot, and the day was absolutely perfect! Strongly recommend for professional photos, or just family memories. This is a lovely beach park, with so many different scenic options. The beach is always clean, and you can rent umbrellas and lounge chairs right by the water, or bring your own.

Very important info.nPay the state park fee and have access to plenty of parking. Eat at the light house cafe ..we had the blackened snapper and it was delicious.nnWalk out on the beach and pay to have the beach chairs and umbrellannGo see the light house .. it will wind you out to a walkable trail along the ocean.nnThis can also be biked. Bike rental is across from the light house cafe in the parking area.nnThis is one of the best walks ever! It was a windy day and there were about a dozen decks along the way to walk out on.nnA must do!

Its one of the very few natural beaches still accessible to the public plus you can picnic, fishing is aloud in bayside. Plenty of barbeques available, parking, bicycle rentals just a beautiful State Park. Entrance is 8 bucks for 2 or more singles pay 4 bucks. You also have a historical lighthouse built in 19th century with rich Florida history from the Seminole wars to the underground railroad were it was a final destination for those escaping from slavery to embark toward the Bahamas, Cuba and islands in the Caribbean. Enjoy!

Nice walking trail, beach area is really good. Need to pay $25 for two chairs and an umbrella. If you don't have your own tent will be needed for sure. Overall a great experience
