The service here is terrible! BTW, this review has nothing to do with their pharmacy since I've never used it. There's usually only about two people in the store: one works at the photo counter and the other seems to float around wherever. I've been here several times (it's the closest one to my home) and many of those times have I had to wait in line for a cashier to even show up to a register. Sometimes waiting several minutes before one does or having to go track someone down myself. Then when they get up there, there's no apology. They even act annoyed that you took them away from what they were doing. There's a very short older lady who works there who helped me with a return and she was incredibly unfriendly, borderline rude. It's worth it to me to drive further to not have to deal with this awfully run store.

I’ve been trying to fill my prescription for several days, originally they were supposed to contact my doctor about a refill, but they never got back to me. After waiting for several days I contacted my doctor to see about the refill, my doctor went ahead and called it in. Today I tried contacting Walgreens to see if my refill was ready, ended up sitting on hold for 45 minutes before I gave up. Ended up calling my doctor to confirm that my refill was submitted, my doctor confirmed and then re faxed the refill over to be safe. So I went in to Walgreens to pick up my prescription, only to be told that there system was down. It is late on a Friday afternoon and I am completely out of my medication (they did offer to give me a few days worth, but that doesn’t help me, because I am a trucker and can’t pick up my meds during the week), they may be convenient, but they are not reliable.

Denied service for producing a punched ID. Corrected the situation by producing a paper ID. Clerk refused service again. Asked for punched ID to be returned in which she denied. Asked her for her name in which she refused. After a minute of interesting weirdness, Josh the manager was called to the checkout. Josh looked over the paper ID and moved the transaction forward without an apology, a thank you or even an explanation as to why his staff isn't trained enough to verify a valid UT government issued identification.

Walgreens in general has the worst service ever. My wife started couponing here and they make it so hard to use all the coupons and something always goes wrong. It frustrates you and you give up. The last straw was when we visited this store to pick up an order. I patiently wait in line, get up to the front, and ask for in store pick up and the clerk seemed confused. She finally understands what I'm talking about and says I need to go over to the photo counter to pick it up. I go over there and no one is manning that station. After a minute I push the button and realize those are the only 2 in the store. After another few minutes of waiting I ask why I'm not getting served. She told me "the line has to be cleared first." I say I was here first and if she won't serve me then I'll leave and get my order refunded. We called up corporate and got it refunded. We'll never be back to Walgreens again.

Stay away. There are way too many good pharmacies out there to waste your time on this one. My very first experience was not great. Not horrible but not great. Oddly long wait...Pharmacy tech seemed not happy to be there. But whatever. We’ve all had days like that. The second time in there sealed the deal for me. I don’t think they could have been LESS helpful if they tried. It was an astonishing and ridiculously frustrating experience for someone having to run around at night trying to get a prescription filled for my sick child. So. Long story short. If your intention was to never have me step foot in your pharmacy ever again. Goal achieved. Well played Walgreens. Well played. I must add that I was able to get the prescription filled at the store on 7800 S. Redwood (with no help from the other guys) Everyone at that pharmacy was wonderful and made a bad experience better. Thank you!
