I live in North chesterfield and had bad service from a local repair shop. I decided to take my vehicle to Palmyra automotive because I know the owner. I drove 80 miles to get there only to be told the next day that they would not do any work on it and if they did it would be 2 weeks before any work would start. They really let me down. I had good money to spend for repairs but they would not touch it.

I made mistakes on some things this past year and each time I made the right choice. I took both our cars to Palmyra Automotive. Honestly, I am not totally clueless on cars, but I never do anything myself anymore. I also am the type that likes to jump on issues vs let them sit. Palmyra Auto was cool with that and helpful and patient with each repair on our Subaru's. Each time issues were explained, detailed, and coordinated seamlessly. Before COVID I was always in Charlottesville but since we are out here in Fluvanna much more now it made sense to drop the cars off locally and give them a shot. I have no regrets at all, nor will you. Believe me, I grew up around this area and there are few people I will take cars in the Charlottesville area, but I will be back to Palmyra Automotive.

I a negligent in reviewing. I used Palmyra Automotive for a simple inspection but was really happy with their scheduling, personal service, professional attitude and communication. I will certainly try them for more complex work in the future based on my initial experience.

Very fair and honest, good quality repairs and services. Stephanie at the front desk is wonderful. We don't take our vehicles anywhere else unless it's a service they don't offer. There rates are very reasonable.
