love this trail! it’s very pretty and kept up nicely.
Poorly maintained trail system, although they've got the right idea. Mountain bike trail system is nice to have in a City park, but trails do nothing but double back on themselves. They really jammed some mileage into a tiny space. Tires and trash in all of the drainage areas.
Some bridges are currently down but I hear they are scheduled to be fix 2020.
Paved paths for bikers, hikers, and horses. When my wife and I went it was muddy. The Dan river must over flow quite often. The path was paved, but covered with mud in many places. It goes along the river, passes The Danville Braves baseball stadium, the Veterans Memorial and goes under a highway. The concrete bridge had been washed away. We had to turn around.nIt is in a urban slightly run down area of Danville VA.
