I went here to ride the mountain bike trails and they are really good! great signage and varied trails, mostly woodland but there are creek crossings and some open sections which as interest.nWhile I was there I also rode the paved Dan river greenway up to Dan Daniel park which was very scenic alongside the river and through 'ghost tree island'.

Small boat launching ramp, shelters, picnic tables and enormous athletic field with paved track around it. Many people with dogs. ( Downstream view of Dan River at Anglers Park.)

I rode the trials off to the right side of the paved greenway and then I went down to Witchback and hiked ccw(it's still to wet for a bicycle). Witchback has the toughest climbs that you can possibly make all the way to the top, if it's dry enough.
