I’ve been here a few times and every time I go the food is 5-stars and so is the service. There is always someone with a friendly smile and ready to help you. The sushi rice is as good as I’ve had in Japan. The takoyaki is my favorite starter! They have some non-fish options like Bulgogi beef too.
We ordered takeout for lunch. Service was quick, the food was tasty, and the portions were fair. We got the $25 bento box combo for two, including a beer. I don't know where else in Alexandria you can get lunch including a beer for that price, so I'm giving it 5 stars. Highly recommend.
The Handover has the friendliest staff, a great chef, and it’s very well maintained. Plate cleaned in 6 minutes flat! Sushi was excellent. We will be back very soon.
LET ME TELL YOU! YOU WILL BE DROOLING JUST THINKING ABOUT THIS PLACE AFTER THE FIRST TIME YOU EAT THERE! The handrolls are dine in only and are incredible. But my gf and I have been getting takeout from this place since the beginning of the pandemic and it is our favorite spot. Their sides are incredible. Shoutout to their kitchen. Shout-out to the scallop handroll.
Amazing food, very creative dishes. The cocktails are INCREDIBLE. It's awesome to have a local place with creative drink options. Staff is super friendly and goes out of their way to make accommodations for anyone with food allergies or restrictions. Absolutely our new go-to spot...try it out, you won't regret it!
