Dining at Ventuno ended my labor day weekend on the worst note possible. The food was subpar and overpriced, atmosphere was adequate and the worst waitstaff I have ever come across. The staff was dismissive and treated us with borderline contempt.nnThere appeared to be 10+ servers for 3 tables at the time we arrived and yet all of them stared at us when we were seated. No one asked us for water until after we had ordered. Normally, I would completely overlook mistreatment by servers if the food is amazing. Ventuno's food is anything but that. We ordered the fritelle di ceci, spaghetti alle vongole and capesante e gamberi. The chickpea fries were the only thing I liked but who doesn't like fried food? The spaghetti was too salty and completely one note. The capesante e gamberi was a funny dish. For $35, you can get a plate of arugula topped with three scallops and two pieces of shrimp. Again, too salty.nnWill not be coming back.
It's a outside setting now, which is so cool its like a whole street by itself, had pasta with meatballs on top, it was very delicious
Most probably the best Italian restaurant I've visited. Yummy food and friendly atmosphere
Goodness, what a treat! We felt very safe at all times. Every course was outstanding. We'll be back... often!
No staff is as sweet as ventuno staff and no food tastes better. Ventuno is the real island's food paradise
