The prices are on the high side. The entrees do not come with a salad. The bread was cold and crusty. The drink refills were slow. The server was not friendly. He was polite but certainly did not want to communicate to enhance his tip.nnI had the chicken Sicily. Very good. The portion was large and it was very flavorful. Hubby had the sirloin steak cooked medium well. It was more medium to medium rare but amazing enough he ate it. It came with seasoned potatoes and asparagus. The potatoes were very tasty.

I got the swordfish and it was probably the best I've ever had. Melted in my mouth. All 6 of us were happy with what we ordered. The service was quick, and the waitress was pleasant and efficient. Granted we were there for lunch on a Monday so it wasn't that busy either. All in all I would recommend this to anyone and hope to go there again when I am in town.

We went to this restaurant and we were very disappointed. Steak Lombardi ordered medium rare came back very well done, tough, and overly smothered with sauce. The best part of the meal was the bread! Stuffed mushrooms were tasteless. Ordered a pizza but the pizza received was not what we ordered. Servers pushed drinks often asking if we wanted more even though the glasses were not empty. The walls were dirty and the lighting poor. I previously dined at this restaurant a few years ago and found the food and service pretty good. I decided to check it out again - too bad! Worcester has so many wonderful restaurants, but this is not one of them. Stay clear and try another venue.

So the Viva Bene Ristorante was absolutely terrible. Once a four-star Italian restaurant back in 2005, it's very clearly gone down hill. We were separated from the other customers in the place for no reason, our food came after everyone else had been served (including people that came in at least ten minutes after us), and our food was poorly made. I ordered grilled portobello mushrooms that was served with angel hair pasta tossed in a pesto sauce. First problem? The mushrooms were over-done and they tasted sour. They shouldn't be sour. As for the pesto, it was somehow both bland as sin and spicy. It should have a light but creamy and earthy flavor. My mum ordered a steak at medium-rare and it came well-done and the pizza we ordered to take home was meant to have pepperoni, olives, and mushrooms. Instead of olives, it had onions which I'm allergic to. The walls were dirty, the lighting dim, and the service very slow not to mention that where we were also placed, the vent made it very noisy so we had to speak loudly to talk over it. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Will never go back!nWent to celebrate my daughter's birthday on Thursday June 12. Arrived just before 5 and were seated immediately. There were a couple of other tables occupied. A male server and a bus person. Our server was Andrea, she arrived a little bit after we sat and was put on the floor immediately.nShe was great and by the end of our dinner actually bad for her.nnI ordered a taste of one of their chardonnays - out of it but our server brought me two others to try. One of which I noticed was listed on the wine list as only being sold by the bottle. I opted for neither of what was brought.nWe ordered calamari appetizer - out of itnOne of my daughters wanted a dish that had the calamari but decided to have a Seafood Scampi dish recommended by our server that they occasionally do as a special. Both my daughter and I ordered that dish. Unfortunately they were out of lobster we found out after our order was put in. So instead we decided on a couple of other dishes.nThe birthday girl ordered a salmon caesar salad, we were charged $20 same as a salmon entree!!nWhen the birthday dessert arrived with a candle it was placed in front of one of my other daughters!nnWould not recommend!
