The A. W. Dalrymple School was originally the Highland School built in 1920.nIt is on the National places Historic registry. The name was changed in 1973 for a well known local teacher A W Dalrymple who became superintendent of SchoolsnThe complex is located at 46 Grovers Avenue Winthrop, Ma 02152.nThe School closed in 2005 and remained vacant until October 2014.nAt that time it was remodeled & opened as Senior Housing. with 27 units in the complex.
