They have special days and hours just for Senior citizens
The store was well stocked with just a few empty shelves. The dates were good on products I purchased. I saved a good percentage on my purchase. Lastly yet probably most important was the team members and the great service they provided.
Love Safeway. $5 Fridays are the best. Loren is the coolest guy that works there. Always says hello and puts a smile on my face. Can go there for a quick meal or all grocery needs.
Safeway is always consistent and dependable.
I love shopping at Safeway primarily because it's the only sure that carries my favorite brand of ice cream and yogurt, but also because they're one of the two best grocery stores in customer service. However, I can't give them for stars because they're shelves are always empty. I realize that some of what's involved in keeping their shelves stocked is out of their control, e.g., shipping, but I can't imagine why they can't do a better job. Unfortunately, this is an issue with EVERY store in Hilo. ☹ufe0f
