My son has been going to WES for second and third grades and we are really happy with his educational progress. He's reading well and proficient in math. The WES program for third grade has a reputation for being the best in Waimea/Kamuela - holding its own with the more expensive private schools. I'm docking a star for limited PE and Arts but the school does have some good after school activities. Overall we are impressed with the quality of the teachers at WES. And it's amazing how much writing our 8 year old is doing in his third grade class - definitely more than his friends in other schools.
