Pleasant place to be. Great atmosphere for children
They made a good job with our son
I went here for third, fourth, and fifth grade. It is a good school to go to with great teachers. But I would recommend bringing a home lunch every once in a while. It is a pretty big place but the confusion is brought down because the buildings all are labeled with letters. It's a clean school even though there is a lot of kids who go here. If you ever need anything the guidance counselors are very nice and the teachers are helpful. Also it is pretty organized. There isn't really any bullying problems that I know of (I have little sisters in different grades) and if there is any the teachers can help. 4/5
Went there as a child. I hear people give the school a bad reputation. I have heard other parents say the teachers lack attention towards the children. However as a child I never felt like that. Also this school gets compared to other schools around and say its not that great! That they wish Kealakehe was more like so and so school. I think its hard to compare this school with smaller ones. I give all the teachers & staff there props because of how large of group of kids they are surrounded with daily. There are so many children that they shouldn't ever be compared to other schools. When the schools are much smaller of course they can pay more attention to little details. Just maybe some parents are a bit exaggerating, just my thoughts.
