Hawaii Academy of Arts & Sci

I love this school. This is our third year and my daughter has never had such a well rounded education. She not only learns academics, but she learns life skills, friendship making skills, she is growing in so many different ways. Academically she is challenged in the areas that she is strong, and given extra instruction and support in an area that she is working hard at. She has attended schools on two different HAAS campuses and I am very impressed.

This is a great school- I've been to several private ones and this charter school is better than any school I've ever been to. I don't know where the Google User got his/her information but he/she needs to spend more time at H.A.A.S... We are a great big family. Our school offers different styles of learning to fit everyone's needs.

We purposely live in this area so that our kids can go to HAAS. They have a great gifted program called Real Class; a surfing program, their own skate park and teachers and staff who care deeply for the students.

Not completely horrible. The high school has much more support and opportunities then middle and elementary programs. It isn't perfect but, most if not all of the high school teachers truly want you to succeed. None of the classes have more then 20-25 students. Also if you want to be challenged emotionally and academically when it comes to English, Eric, you are in luck.

I can't speak for every teacher there, but my Daughter's teacher (grade 6) is great, and so is my son's teacher (grade 3). I'm not sure what the previous reviewer's problem is, but it sounds like he/she would have problems anywhere they went.
