If your child has a teacher named Tiffany Otani, get your child out of her class as soon as possible! She continuously puts kids down and wont hesitate to call every child in her class a retard... Teachers like this shouldn't be around kids...

This is school is way behind the times, when my children went there in 2011 the counselors tried to move them up 2 grades because they were so ahead for the grade level. My children have always gone to school in the mainland and it is absurd just how advanced children in the mainland are compared to local kids. CRAZY STUFF

HHS has a wonderful history, beginning in 1906. Among the alumni are Congress woman Pat Saiki, former Mayor Lorraine Inouye ,UFC Hall of Famer, BJ Penn and Dr.Jennifer Doudna, developer of the CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing method . The student population is multi-cultural, and proudly includes students (grades 9-12) from the Hawaiian Immersion School, Ke Kula 'O Nawahiokaulani'opu'u . HHS has athletics, and clubs that include PALC , JROTC and Project UNIFY. The school also has a wonderful outdoor pool, brand new gym and if it really matters, a new phone system. If there is a problem with school personnel or any concern, contact the Principal. If your child is having problems keeping up with the work, contact his or her counselor. If you suspect your child has a disability, contact the SSC. Go Viks!
