Sushi Shiono

Just a standard sushi restaurant with high quality fish. As their sushi was very good, it was nothing to write home about. Our waiter was extremely nice (why this restaurant earns 4 stars, not 3).nThey have very few Gluten Free options, so keep that in mind if your diet restricts.nThey have both indoor and outdoor seating.

Do you know you can get omasake from Chef Hide? It was the best we’ve had on the entire island. We are almost sad that he has to make rolls so much. Too good for the island tourists. Sure we are sushi snobs and represent mostly Asian palettes but you deserve better sushi too so definitely try to book him whenever you can.

The food was fresh and delicious. We liked the sake and decided to buy a bottle at the grocery store later that day, only to find out that the sake we got at the restaurant was actually *heavily* watered down, which is surprising considering the already steep up-charge. That combined with service that forgot two of our dishes and never refilled our waters. I would recommend coming here to eat a roll of sushi or two with a friend but would skip a whole meal and especially drinks.
