i believe this is the quintessential local place for grindz.. more local than than some others.. I do miss the ambiance inside while eating. Even though it's all done as take home, the portions are still huge. The spicy pork is among my top 5 restaurant items on the big island!

THEY DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE FOR NO ONE! I don't know how many times I call just to place a phone order. Either the line is busy or just keeps ringing. And when I finally get through to someone and it's time to pick up my order, I can literally hear the phone ringing and all the young workers just standing around talking story. And there is no way it's because they are busy.. the restaurant seating is closed. Pick up the phone puhhhhLEASE.

I ordered some vegetarian options. I will never eat here again. The kimchi fried rice was mushy and clumpy the kimchi was dry and the rice wasn’t even fried & had patches of white rice all through it. The curry ramen tasted like it wasn’t supposed to go together & ramen noddles were worse than the 99¢ noodles. I’d must rather eat top ramen. Customer service was bad.

It's a very good place, Seating and space inside is perfect especially during COVID-19. Food is amazing! I reccomend the Kalbi Ribs or Sizzling Steak and Onions!

Food is awesome, but getting a reservation for 4 is impossible. Directions say call after 5pm. I call at 6ish, nobody answers the phone even after 5 tries. I then go to the website. Answer the questions then is informed you cant make a reservation unless you are a party of 6. Talk about crazy.
