Teshima's Restaurant

This is a family owned and operated local institution since 1929. We make sure to come at least once every time we are on the Big Island. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with something on the menu for everyone. They specialize in Japanese food, so if you are so inclined we recommend you order accordingly. Covid precautions include reduced capacity, temperature checks at the door and masks are required.

Authentic and tasteful Japanese food. Excellent service; I barely had to wait for my food. The servers are all so friendly and nice. I highly recommend having a meal here!

Great food

Returned after over a year away and it is as good and consistent as always. The 2 egg breakfast, the waitstaff and the clean environment are top winners with us. Family owned and run, this little gem shows the pride they have for their namesake. Very laidback with very good quality food.

LOVED IT. it was my 4 year anniversary today and I went with my boyfriend & brother/his other half. Houston A. My server I think lol was the BOMB loved his enthusiasm was great & he made sure we had everything we needed and was always coming to check if there was more he could do!
