We went here after this place was recommended to us by a friend, and unfortunately we weren’t that impressed. We are really into good coffee (we usually get it freshly roasted from a local roaster and consume within 2-3 weeks), so the bar is pretty high. None of the roasted coffees for sale at this place have the roasted date on them, which could mean the freshness is no different than a grocery store whole bean. The lady behind the counter said the roasted date depended on how quickly the coffee sold, but still didn’t know the exact time. It was also extremely expensive $15 for a tiny bag (4oz). Our takeaway was this place is a tourist trap for people staying in Kona wanting “good coffee”, but there are many other places to get fresher and better value coffee.

It was so nice during COVID to find a coffee shop sampling their coffee. The workers were very happy to see me and I sampled all the flavors before ordering 2.5 lbs that was mailed back to my house. I took a 0.5 lb bag back to my place with me for the week and enjoyed it every morning during my stay. Delicious and worth the money.

The best coffee we found on the island! We tried some others and always came back here! They let you taste all the flavors, the vanilla mac nut was my personal favorite! The ladies there were so friendly, and remembered us which was so fun! We are sad to leave, as no coffee in Oregon tastes this good! I guess we'll have to make sure the coffee we bought lasts until next time!

Excellent coffee, great conversation and open early at 6:00 if you sneak under the chain out front. Enjoy your coffee on the beautiful semi private bulkhead overlooking the ocean out back. Especially loved their peaberry dark roast.

Wow! What a great shop! Staff is passionate about their coffee and offer mini-tastings of their various coffees. Coffee is locally grown on a seven-generation family farm. The peaberry coffee is especially good and low acid, too.
