Juan's House of Tacos

Really amazing rice and beans. They were our favorite. I got the fish tacos which were good, but could have used a sauce or spicy salsa. Husband got steak burrito which he said was good. Service was spot on and the owner was so nice. I’m used to spicier Mexican food, so I would have preferred it, but I realize it’s a restaurant in Star Valley, so they probably have to adjust for local preferences. The only thing that was absolutely disappointing was that no one, including the staff, wore masks. As healthcare workers we were annoyed and frustrated, but didn’t know where else to eat and had little ones in tow so we felt compelled to stay as everyone was hungry and tired from a long drive, but felt uncomfortable the entire time. Wyoming doesn’t have masking laws, but that doesn’t mean it’s not the compassionate responsible thing to do. When we walked in with our masks everyone stopped and stared at us like a scene from an Old West saloon. Once the pandemic is over I would eat there again, but not until then.

Juan's is the greatest. He and his staff really focus on quality. I love the chicken chimichanga with fresh guacamole....yum!

Probably my favorite local restaurant, the service is the best, you cannot get better service anywhere else in star valley.
