I was recommended Safeway's floral department by a coworker. I was very pleasantly surprised by the large selection & great prices. The employee working the section actually asked if I needed help finding anything, & took the time to help me find what I was looking for. Usually when I'm wandering the floral selection of two of the competitors, I get ignored & left to wander by myself. It was nice to be acknowledged!

Great prices, fresh quality produce, good savings, variety
It was empty, and everyone actively ignored me, to the point it was noticeably weird. It's clean and quiet, but the pastry i bought was stale. The heck? Boo. Hiss. Prices are unnecessarily high. All in all, I'd rather brave a busy store.
I went to Safeway to buy 8 piece chicken they had a deal for $4 the 99 cents when I paid for it with my card I didn't notice it was $7 and 99 cents. I got home and looked at the receipt and called them up and they said that I had to use the club card which I have but nobody asked or said anything about it and all the sign said was $4 and 99 cents nothing about your Club card. That made me pretty mad cuz I stopped in every Monday for that special. I think I'm going to re-evaluate that. I believe when the sign says apprised that's what it should be.
