Here from out of town and decided to visit after a Google recommendation. The little store is nice and has a lot of olive-type merchandise. However, the patio and vineyard area is where it is at. The weather, coupled with the shade of the olive trees and light breeze is making this place perfect for a relaxing few minutes. A lot of people are buying food — The spaghetti looks really good! This was well worth the 40 minute drive from Chandler.
We went here for the first time on a nice Sunday with my family. And frankly, we thought we were going to have a good meal with olive oil. And that's why we ordered salads and pizza. And we bought dessert.nnHowever, there was not a single drop of olive oil in the salad. You say olive oil, but you only give greens to those who come here to eat it.nnAnd I think I ate the worst pizza in my life. First of all, I wanted a large pizza and paid for it. But it was medium pizza. Yes, it had a few sliced cheese on it. But it just seemed to be covered in tomato sauce.nnAnd lemon cream dessert. They put so much lemon essence in it that it tastes bitter and when you eat it, an acid burns your nose. We are in lemon heaven. Why are you using chemicals? And the prices are really too much for these bad food.nnAnd in the garden section, I could not find any features except for the olive trees. There were leftovers and tomato sauces on the tables. The sinks in the restroom were dirty. Hygiene is too lacking here. I never recommend it. parks and gardens everywhere. I will never come back if I can't eat a good meal and hygiene is lacking.
A truly wonderful experience! I thought we were coming to a farmers market w the look of the parking lot. This was high level light dining! The patio with the olive trees and cypress made you feel like you were taken to another country w beautiful jazz playing. The inside is a joy with infinite variety of flavored olive oils, pastries, appetizers and drinks. This place got it going on!☆☆☆☆☆
We really enjoyed visiting the Olive Mill. The outdoor space is perfect, lots of room. Enjoyable brunch with Superstition coffee. Sat out in the picnic table area under the olive trees was a lovely way to support a local place while staying socially distant. Getting our food, beverages and to go items in the store was a bit hairy though. They even had live music Sunday morning and oil tastings going on. Would like to try going during the week to see if less busy.
We were invited to accompany friends to the Olive Mill for lunch. We arrived before the lunch menu was available so my friend and I got coffee while our wives shopped. Later when their shopping was completed we got in a long line which had extended outside the entrance doors. About 10 minutes later we were able to place our orders.nMy wife and I ordered a pizza to share. Our friends got their food in about 15 minutes but our pager didn't light up yet. After 45 minutes had passed since ordering, I approached the pizza delivery counter and inquired about our pizza. After a quick look at some tickets the young lady said it will be coming soon. I returned to our table, told my wife what she said, and continued to wait. Our friends had long since finished their meal. Shortly after that my wife returned the products she was going to purchase and told me to get a refund because she was leaving. It was past one hour now since we had ordered so I requested a refund. A manger arrived and I explained that waiting over an hour and still not having our pizza was unacceptable and that we were leaving. The manager refunded our purchase price but never offered an apology or checked to see why we didn't receive our pizza. We won't be returning.
