Indian Cliffs Hiking Trail Parking Area

The trail itself is very nice. We heard frogs and the trees and saw some deer. It is hardly used in the fall, so we had the trail to ourselves. The views from the top are gorgeous. The trail is doable for all ages, especially if you take your time. There is a picnic bench at the top as well as a few benches along the way to sit. It is very nice.

Nice hiking trail in Hey burn state park, but not for the faint of heart

The parking area is small and there was a jerk taking up two spots so we did have to wait a little bit to park, though fortunately a family was leaving shortly after we got there. They should definitely consider expanding, especially since it's the start of two trail heads. I think about 7 or 8 vehicles can fit there, max, and if people only take one spot.

Great scenic trail. Someone even cut simple designs into the ends of logs that had fallen across the trail! Only spoiler was the occasional obnoxiously ridiculously loud Harley down on the highway!

Great spot to taken in a piece of The Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes!
