West Valley Islamic Center is very moderate teaching the Imam his very funny at times. He teaches interesting way by giving examples from history to make it easier to learn. I love his view in the current political system. Obey Allah , follow the Prophet Muhammad, do your five prayers, treat other people right regardless if they are non Muslims, respect all religions and other religions will respect you. Have tolerance and forgiveness in your heart I love all human beings that's the path to righteousness. Our religion is Salam religion we need to live by it. But we are not push over either our religion has many over examples of being a strong Muslim without bringing other point of view down. The main principle of Islam is we have our own opinion. And you have your opinion. We can just Pro exist on that alone.

It's a small center in a shop lot but the people are among the best in Phoenix. I love going there whenever I can. They offer potlucks once a month, Sunday class to learn Quran and Islamic studies. Sheikh Waleed is absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable. I love listening to his khutbas! Definitely recommend it here.

Great community and I love the environment, where I can go, take my kids to learn about Islam and my culture.
