Beauty Creek Campground

My aunt and uncle were the camp host for three seasons and we would visit them every summer. Great spot situated less than a mile from the lake and only a five minute drive off of I-90. Plenty of riding trails and great weather, especially in the summer months. A great place to camp if you need to get away from all the hustle and bustle for a weekend getaway tucked away under thick tree cover and lush forest.

The campground was cute and quaint. The campsite I stayed at was fairly far away from the next sites and it was a large site with a big fire pit and grill. The tent sites on the other hand were in a big field all together with nothing to divide the sites. There was no hookup, which is expected for a forest service campground. The one big downer to the place was the water pump that actually required two people to get water, one of which is constantly pumping. The campground is overall nice and the host is very kind and helpful. It’s a good spot to stay for a couple days to explore Coeur D’Alene without actually staying in town.

Nice quiet campground for the family for dry camping, great price. Near Coeur d' Alene lake and just off I 90. Scenic road of lake to the campground is beautiful but beware of the road to the campground which as some deep pot holes that have been marked (markings have worn out). Nice n helpful consierge host run by private company for National Parks. Clean outhouse near camp site. We arrived on the same afternoon, got lucky with last site.

Christy was an excellent campground host! And kept the bathrooms very clean. We got there at an awesome time, right before it got booked up for the weekend. We absolutely enjoyed our time there and we will definitely return! We hope Christy is there next year too!!

The camp host was very friendly and worked really hard to keep everything clean and make sure our experience was pleasant! We really appreciated how hard she worked to make sure we found a site and checked in to make sure we were settled in well or if we needed firewood.nnIt’s a beautiful little campground, convenient location near Coeur D’Alene but still feels like you’re out in nature. They have both open sites and private sites depending on how much room you need. We got a kick out of the water on site- it is from an old fashion hand pump so make sure you are prepared for a workout if you need water!
