All of the sites in the south loop are very nice and well shaded, though they are a bit close to each other. Most of the sites in the north loop are mostly sunny. The ones on the ends are the best. 24 is awesome if you like lots of shade. One nice thing about the north loop is that the camp sites are further apart. We felt like we were the only ones there in site 24.nnThe camp hosts, Miguel and Angela, were amazing!! So friendly. They did such an amazing job keeping the bathrooms sparkling clean and smelling great. They also had great advice for close hikes.
extremely clean and very quiet. Amazing views all around with creeks and a river very close by. Bathrooms and trashcans closely available but far enough away that cant smell them from any site you choose. The campground staff were very polite and on the ball making sure everyone was enjoying their trip. Id give it more stars if i could. 10/10 will be returning in the near future.
There are only two negatives I have about this campground. 1 is the proximity to an off road trails for atvs. If that's your thing, and you don't mind hearing others race by on their ATVs, then it's not really a problem. The 2nd negative was the price. Labor Day weekend, for us, was $21/night. Rather expensive compared to other campgrounds in the area.nnThe positives include large camping areas. Nice secured tables. Not too many camp sites packed together, plenty of space. A good amount of bathrooms (north loop has two) that were well kept for what they are: a building that contains a hole in the ground with a seat.nnWould recommend.
Didn't dislike it there are hundreds of trees down you can't even get into most spots
Bumblebee Campground was nice and comfortable. Wish it had river access, though. The people next to us were extremely noisy and were loud until around 10pm at night. Other than that, I'd recommend it if you're looking for a spot surrounded by animals. We saw a baby moose, a mother moose and several deer.
