Lost Moose Campground

We loved our stay! Researched multiple campgrounds and ultimately chose to stay here and so happy we did. I read it is remote and a little hard to find but knowing that, we found it just fine although I would recommend getting there before nightfall.nnWe always tent it and our site was perfect equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. We hoped they had firewood for sale as we didn't pack any and sure enough, they have a little store on grounds. Our reserved campsite was #20 which is near the hot showers and clean restroom with vaulted toilet. The grounds are clean and well kept.nnNo internet connection was great for my family to enjoy each other's company. Campgrounds close enough to plenty of outdoor activities we exhausted ourselves by the time we got back to camp where it was very peaceful. Our camping neighbors were very nice as well.nnI highly recommend the Lost Moose Campground and we can't wait till we can go back!

Pretty out of the way from the highway which wasn’t made clear on website. Would be a nice get away but not a spot for resting while traveling. Don’t show up after dark. Sites aren’t labeled very clearly and other campers will stop and yell at you for showing up late. Sites are pretty close together and a few 4 wheelers were being taken out until at least midnight. Site descriptions need more details some are not drive up it seemed. Space/amenities were clean. Good price. I won’t be back but I’d recommend for a weekend family trip or something.

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights it is a beautiful place very peaceful and quiet. The campground is very clean and the owners are very friendly. The RV sights are not on top of each other so you have plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable . It also has a great creek to cool off in.

The best place to camp in N idaho. Been here several times the last few years, great rtides and quiet spots. If you love nature this is the place to be. Home away from home. Fred (owner) is amazing and the hosts are the best. Will be back when ever we can get a reservation...someone been talking about this place it is full most of the time.

The Lost Moose was found here! We absolutely loved our stay! Fred was so pleasant to meet and chat with. Park was clean and quiet. Can't wait to go back!
