Beautiful and relaxing, great views, better people, good food and bar, lots of boats of all types, so all in all come on down and have some fun...!
Good place to dock your boat and take a break. You can also gas the boat up here! They have a convenient store, bathrooms (honey buckets), dock fishing, a bar and restaurant. They also have a beach and swimming area. When we stopped in on Sunday, they had a live band that could be heard from all around. I sat on the beach for a while and enjoyed the cool water and country music while the kids played in the water.
One of our best decisions was to visit Conkling Marina restaurant while staying at Heyburn State Park! Welcoming staff, spacious sunny and shaded seating outside, great views and food. It was fun to slow down and enjoy marina life.
This was a place where I swam as a kid and ate lunch and dinner. This is still celebrating a great place for family events and boating. They have a great boat machanic up the road from there too.
Such good service, we ordered drinks and the server noticed that one of us were not drinking his cocktail and came out with a new one, claiming he made it wrong, we never said a word so they must of noticed... Great place, good live music!!!
