Great park! Friendly owners and staff. Well kept. Near wonderfully scenic ATV trails. Close enough to have access to all the urban attractions, yet rural enough to be peaceful. Great place to find new friends.

Rancho Sonora RV Park is the best small park in Arizona! The park is located away from a city and is perfect for retirees searching for a quiet place to spend the winter. There are groups of people on ATVs and in Jeeps who enjoy exploring the mountains and desert in this area. There are activities within the park—putting green, an area to practice chipping, corn-hole, Frisbee golf, a swimming pool, and a hot tub. Hiking is also an activity enjoyed by some. This is my third winter at Rancho Sonora. My initial plan was to travel the south during Colorado winters. But I fell in love with the park & the people, so I come back each year! This is close to “big city events” and yet, snuggled away in a cozy area that might be missed if you don’t know it’s here! A diamond in hiding! My home away from home!

Our first visit to Rancho Sonora RV Park was supposed to be for a month. We stayed for THREE!! We fell in love with the area, the people, and the park! The new owner is really cleaning and improving Rancho Sonora-- fixed the heated pool, added a couple of small game areas: Frisbee golf course, cornhole, putting green, horseshoes, chipping green, along with the small library room and great clubhouse that was already there. We love it and plan to return for many more years!
