Great place to go skiing or snowboarding, they have dinning and shuttles if you have to park further away. A little pricey if you don't order a lift ticket a week in advance, but worth the money. Their learn and earn is an award winning program, you get close interaction with coaches who take their jobs seriously and work hard to make sure you understand the concepts of skiing and snowboarding. It's a program that is worth trying if you want to learn something fun and new.
20” of fresh powder the night before. What’s not to like. Lots of great terrain and the lines weren’t bad even though the parking lot was packed. Great selection of demo skis of you’re looking to try something new on a powder day. Much easier drive than it is through Salt Lake to the cottonwood canyon resorts. Food is really good but carries a typical overpriced-ski-resort price tag.
We hit the storm perfectly at Snowbasin! Great snow and a lot of area for people to spread out on the mountain. A lot of fun terrain to explore including trees and chutes in addition to groomers. The staff is doing a great job making sure guests are safe and following covid restrictions. The lodges are beautiful and so are the bathrooms!! Can't wait to go back and explore more terrain, thanks Snowbasin!!
Snowbasin is a five-star resort. Mountain is big enough that we can get away from the crowds. Snow was nice. The gondola was a little more rundown than I remember from 10 years ago the last time I was here, but overall we had a great time. The lodges and facilities here are nice and plush.
Very good ski resort. The lines aren't too long, there are many runs to choose from for all ability levels, and you can find places to ski away from too many other people. Good dining area and gift shop; ski shop people were friendly. I first came here for the Olympics, so it was cool to come back, years later, to ski.
