Centerville Junior High School

I've been seeing a lot of one or two star reviews on Centerville Junior High and felt that I had to say something about it. Although I've only been at this school for one year, as a seventh grader I can confidently say that this is a great school! The elementary school I came from wasn't the best so coming here was a breath of fresh air. I've made tons of friends with students and teachers. The curriculum is clear and easy to learn. I haven't received a ton of homework that I was expected to do in one night. In these reviews, I've seen people complaining about bullying but personally I've never seen it happen. This school makes me feel safe and wanted. Yes, sometimes the halls or classrooms are cold and sometimes the cafeteria food isn't the best but it's a junior high. We have to remember that we're not attending Harvard. Honestly, for a junior high, Centerville is amazing! Especially the band, orchestra, choir, and theater classes. It may not be a Harvard of a junior high, but for me and many other students here, it's good enough.

This school is an amazing! The teachers and students are great and you learn a lot. This school is the best school that I have ever been to. That is saying a lot. The staff is very understanding and helpful in everything. Centerville Junior High has good sports teams too.

As a student at this school, I can say confidently that they can't reasonably be expected to do much better than they already are doing. The one thing as far as efficiency I have a little to complain about is the teachers being easily distracted. As a student, I love when this happens, as less time is spent on the task and more being distracted, but in the scheme of efficiency, teachers' distractedness needs to be minimized.

Being a student at CJH myself, I've had personal experience! So how can people write a bad review when they haven't even been there? Well, news flash people; CJH is amazing! There's not much homework, the teachers & staff are amazing, the people there are super nice, and I have never seen bullying, the closet to that was people being annoying. Sure there's some things to work on, but hey! No school's perfect! And out of all the schools in the Davis School District, I'm glad I go to CJH!
