Timbermine Steakhouse

I got takeout from the Timbermine last night and it was fine. I ordered a ribeye and their Deep Fried mushrooms. The meat itself was diner quality at best. So thin in places that it was well done(I ordered medium), no marbling, etc. They did the best they could with the cut, and, at $20 for the meal, I wouldn’t really expect high quality meat. The deep fried mushrooms were fine. I thought they could have done more with them, and again, the mushrooms they used seemed pretty low grade, but they weren’t bad. Staff was super friendly and pickup was easy. Overall, for Ogden and for the price, this was solidly not bad.

Great place to eat, especially if you’re looking for a place to host special gatherings. Plenty of room for socially distanced dinners, whether it be for families or companies (I have been a part of both types of parties here). There is a large banquet room available in addition to the regular seating that you find in restaurants.nnThe deep fried mushrooms and mozzarella bites make for a great appetizer, and it’s also the best prime rib that I’ve ever had. All of their steak and shrimp combos are also delicious. I believe they are still doing “to-go” dinners as well if you want a great dinner at home. They also offer a free “Mud Pie” for birthdays and anniversaries. They have an awesome theme inside and I would definitely recommend stopping by for any occasion.

You know how you just want something and there's only 1 place you know you can get it? Not anymore. Did you know Timbermine has fried mushrooms that are to die for!!! The servers are adorable and prompt. The prices are OK. The food was great and the atmosphere is amazing. What s great night

Friendly staff, from the moment we showed up, Abbe was our hostess, and made sure to come and let us know our wait time and was very friendly, they are busy, so plan ahead, but the food is greatnI had the Prime Rib, and it was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was Taylee, and she was very pleasant as well. I believe the general manager came by to check on us.nI highly recommend this place. The atmosphere was great also!

Best experience ever! Loved our bartender and our waitress. My husband wanted to take me somewhere nice and I'm so glad he took me here! Our drinks came punctually and our food came much more quickly than I expected. Literally the best steak I've ever had!! I will absolutely be returning! I'm sad you can only make reservations for parties of 8 or more, because I think it would really cut down the 30+ minute wait. We were told it could be up to an hour and a half, and I'm glad we didn't have to wait that long. The cups at the table were dirty and wet when we arrived to our booth but accidents totally happen and on a busy Saturday I can understand that getting overlooked, and our server replaced them with no issue and a sincere apology. I love the wine and beer selection! So many amazing options. Our steaks were incredibly tender and they were cooked to the doneness we asked for!! The bread and appetizers were fresh and delicious, though the salad was a bit disappointing. Seafood was also really fresh and fabulous! I think my server may have misunderstood my dietary restrictions that I requested accommodation for and that is the biggest issue I have. I wish my allergy sensitivity would have been taken more seriously. I do understand that mistakes happen, but only half of my meal was allergy friendly, and that is really frustrating and disappointing. I wanted to be able to eat the hot food together with my spouse, so I didn't send my steak back, even though it had pepper like I had mentioned I needed omitted for my allergy accommodation. Steak had pepper but the broccoli did not, so they got it half right. I really hope they can accommodate my allergy needs next time. I will update this post after I return with the results of the available allergy accommodations. I still stand with the five stars even with these few issues, because the food, the service and the environment really made up for it. I'm so glad to have found this gem, I can't wait to be a repeat customer!
