My wife agrees as well. It is also interesting to note, the owner came by. He's probably in his later eighties or early nineties. He was very friendly, and it seems like everyone that eats there has had a family member work there. I know my uncle worked there back in the early 80s or late 70s. I think he was a bus boy.

Food is average for Chinese, but for bountiful it's great. The service is always good, the food is always fresh and flavorful, it's just a little bit too expensive. The decoration and detail is unique and makes the restaurant a fun and enjoyable experience. I recommend it.

Mandarin never disappoints! Utilize the call ahead seating option to minimize your wait in line. Later times are better so you don't compete with the take-out dinners. I have NEVER ordered a bad tasting dish but if you want recommendations, their homemade egg rolls, house fried rice, and mushu pork are my favorites!

Because tonight was a wet, rainy night, we decided that Sizzling Rice Soup was definitely in order. This menu item has been a family favorite for years. It's good for whatever ails you, and even when nothing ails you. Highly recommended.

My wife and I were just passing through Bountiful and wanted to try someplace different. Found this on Google maps. The decor in the restaurant made us feel like we were back in China, but the menu options were pretty much the same as you would find at any American Chinese restaurant. That is not necessarily bad, but was a bit of a disappointment to me. The quality of the food was excellent. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because our entire visit was filled with the voice of high school aged waitresses talking and talking in the kitchen/pick up area. Maybe they should put a door there to block the sound, or not seat guests in the vicinity. It is the only thing that made the experience not so pleasant.nBy the way, the did have a unique dessert that was very tasty. The lemon cheesecake. It was served in a glass as it has the consistency of mousse. The citrus mixed with raspberries was very delectable.
